Every Parent’s Nightmare- Your Child Has Cancer

I struggled with a daughter who had P.O.T.S (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) as a high school teenager. She was bedridden for two years with constant nausea and migraine headaches. She sunk into deep depression and became socially forgotten. We are grateful she was saved by a specialist who shocked her system with intense levels of antibiotics and a recovery program that made her even more nauseous – but ultimately worked! As awful as this was, it pales in comparison to what parents and children go through when managing the consequences of childhood cancer. Enter: Bravehearts for Kids.

Bravehearts for kids is a charitable organization that focuses on helping families deal with the treatment and management of cancer among children. This includes trips to the hospital for children who have working parents, providing entertainment and building a community for these children while they are at the hospital, and even financial support for families who don’t have the means to pay for treatment and care. Their reach has been nationwide, but was severely hampered by the social limitations of the COVID pandemic. Now that hospitals have returned to normal, this wonderful organization is expanding once again. So, the question is: how does this organization fund expansion efforts after funding dried up during the lockdown?

The Sponsor Method was created in a joint effort between Beneficial Business Solutions (out of Chicago) and Caddis LLC (out of suburban New York City). This unique program encourages financial advisors and asset managers to “sponsor” charities just like Bravehearts for Kids in exchange for a large Google ad budget for lead generation and trust building with prospects and a “done-for-you” digital marketing campaign. For example, a $5000/mo. commitment is split into two pieces: first for the charity and second to fund a fully functional digital marketing campaign for the sponsoring advisor from an accomplished firm like Beneficial Business Solutions. What makes this deal incredible is the fact that charities like this can file for FREE Google ad Grants. Assuming the grant is honored, the sponsoring party will receive TWICE their monthly contribution in Google ads! For example, a $60,000 annual commitment to this program results in a $120,000 per year Google ad budget. The charity benefits from receiving a lot of the funding they need for national expansion and the digital marketing agency creates and manages a campaign (and nurturing campaign) that puts the sponsoring advisor in front of people who are already searching for their services (high buyer interest). Lastly, the advisor/asset manager is no longer relying on referrals as their exclusive lead generation tool (too infrequent and unreliable). www.caddis.biz

If you could combine the benefits of public relations (charitable giving) with digital marketing specifically for people who have already shown an interest in your services, would you carve out a percentage of your revenue to fund this?
